Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain REVIEW

What could be better then a gorgeous lip color that stays on for long periods of time? NOTHING! I know that when we are in the drugstore the word "lip stain" never sounds appealing. The fabulous thought is there.. but the product usually sucks. However, I think I've found a wonderful lip stain from Revlon and I just haaaaaaave to share it with you!!! 

Maybelline VIVID Lipstick Shocking Coral Review

Another new lipstick from Maybelline has hit the drugstore! This collection is called the VIVID lipsticks and as you can imagine, they are all very bright! As many of you know, I'm totally up for a bright lip color, however these are all neon and would be better off for summer not winter! With that being said, I picked one up in Shocking Coral and in my opinion it's the most wearable of the collection! 

Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick REVEW

As many of you probably know, the drugstore has been coming out with a lot of new products recently! And of course, y'all know I'm always up for a good bargain so when I saw this Color Whisper lipstick I just had to pick one up!!

 

Review: Maybelline Pink Peony Lipstick

For summer time, I feel like a sheer wash of pink or coral is the perfect color to wear on your lips! My current favorite has been Maybelline's Pink Peony! The packaging of the lipstick is so sleek and the lipstick itself is wonderful! I love the color, the formulation, and the pigmentation. It's great because it's inexpensive since it is from the drugstore! I believe it ranges form $6-7!

I would recommend this lipstick to anyone! Will you be trying it out?

Something I am absolutely in love with is nude lipstick. I feel like nude lipstick makes your true lip color pop even more and it makes you look a lot more "put together"!

Happy 4th Holiday!

Just a little hello from Tyler and I. These pictures were all taken by him, INCLUDING the fireworks!! He does such a beautiful job. If you would like to see more this is his facebook 'fan page'---- right heree!

I've never really liked the Fourth of July very much. I understand that it is when USA got it's independence and all that blah blah blah, but fireworks used to scare me half to death, so that's maybe why, heh.

Well I hope you all eat some wonderful cookout food and see beautiful fireworks!

Smokey Eye!

Lately, i have become OBSESSED with how i do my makeup. If i use sparkly eye shadow, dark eye shadow, fake lashes, curl my lashes, liquid eye liner, ect. I was out at a local drugstore over the weekend and saw this kit of eye liner, mascara, and shadow. It's the COVERGIRL ideal of a "smokey eye". In the past i have tried doing the smokey eye with different eye shadows, but this 'two in one' is REALLY helpful!

Here are the steps:

• Apply your eye liner. This kit came with liquid eye liner, that i absolutely ADORE. You can just apply it however you want. I went with more of a "cat eye" but then rubbed the ends off.
• Secondly, add the white end of the eye shadow. It has some sparkle to it, so it comes out as a pretty snowy white. You apply that all over your lids and then up to your brow bone. You can obviously go higher or lower if you want and it will have the same effect.
• Thirdly, add your black shadow. The tip of this is not rounded, like the white, it's more of a pencil end. You want to apply that to your outer corners and the crease of your eye. It stands out more then you think it would.
• Lastly, just apply your mascara!

This whole kit costed about $16 dollars for me, and it was well worth it! I love the way it comes out and the way it looks! :) I would definitely recommended it to anyone who is trying to make the "smokey eye"!!

I had a fabulous weekend, i hope you all did too! This is just a little "party outfit" i put together and wore over the weekend. I'm NOT a partier as all the "teenage crowd" but i like to be with a large group of people now and then. I also like to look nice in front of a lot of people, too.

I do not drink, smoke, or have sex, which is what i meant by the "teenage crowd". Lately, it seems like everyone at my school is doing it. They are partying. Now, it's not such a bad thing to go around and dance with your friends and have a good time. But what is the point of "grinding" on EVERY boy at a party or drinking until you throw up? WE ARE ONLY YOUNG ONCE. Whyyyy do teenagers decided they want to just throw that away...

It just does not make sense in my mind. I love waking up in the morning (in my own bed) thinking about what i wonderful night i had the night before. Why would i not want to remember it?!?!?

I think it's a different story if you're twenty-one and you are at a club in NYC, but high school drinking/dancing party's are TRASHY. I am so, so sick of hearing stories from students 'last nights'. UGH!!!

Ah, sorry for my ranting.. it's just really been getting to me lately, ha!

Acid washed jeans and pink lipstick!

I was recently shopping at a local Target store and wandered upon these Jeggings! I wanted a new pair of jeggings and when i saw these, i loved the appeal of them. I saw a pair just like them at Hollister about a year before but they were ten times the price!!! I really fell in love with these. Also the pink lipstick too! Normally i like my lips to just have a little glitter/shimmer to them, but i decided to go bold; and it was a hit! I really, really do love this outfit! I'm so thrilled that i'm starting to try new things!

I've had lots and lots of homework lately! High school is just no fun anymore. I'm also trying to look for a part time job, which is equally NOT FUN. It's so hard to find a job in a small town. But i guess the only thing i can do is keep trying!
