HOW TO: At home manicure

A GIRLS NAILS ARE HER BEST FRIENDS ;) They are her best accessory!

This post would obviously be easier in video mode, but this shall do too! It is way too expensive to go get your nails done every single week, so why not just do it yourself? When you do it yourself, it won't be such a bummer when you get little chips! When you do it yourself, it also means that you can change the colors more often!

The main things needed:
  • Nail Polish Remover
  • Cotton Balls
  • Nail Clippers
  • Nail File
  • Top/base CLEAR Coat
  • New Color of Polish
  • Cuticle Pusher
  • Cuticle Oil (Not in this tutorial, but I normally use it)

First, take off any nail polish that is already on your nails. Even if you do not have any polish, run the remover on your nails. This will make them easier to work with and even stronger. Second, clip your nails to desired length. Third, file your nails. You normally want more of a oval at the top of your nails. Fourth, (use cuticle oil if want) use the oil and push your cuticles down. Nothing to drastic of course though! This should NOT hurt at all. You are just doing this for healthier nails and it also makes them look longer too ;). Fifth, apply base coat. Sixth, apply whatever color you would like to your nails. Normally, you want two or three coats to make sure it will last 2-5 days. Lastly, apply your top coat over the polish. Remember, nothing has to be perfect. It probably will not be perfect, especially on your not dominant hand!

I hope you learned a little or this helped just a tad bit! Heh.
~Hope you all are doing very well and have a fabulous week!
