Fit Tip: Reasons To Start Swimming TODAY!
I'm always looking for different ways to workout to keep my workouts exciting! I'v recently learned that swimming is a REALLY good way to workout and heres why:
1. It's A Total Body Workout.
Swimming sculpts your back, tones your arms, and so much more. It does so much and you will never even have to pick up a weight!
2. It Won't Hurt Your Joints!
If you're recovering from and injury, there won't be too much pressure and swimming shouldn't make your joints worse!
3. It Doesn't Require Fancy Equipment.
You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to swim! All you need is a suit, cap, and goggles!
4. It's A Great Way To Burn Calories.
One hour of moderate swimming can burn 500 calories. 500.
This also revs and boots up your metabolism, which means it will burn calories even once you're done!
5. It Maximizes Your Cardio.
Swimming is the ultimate aerobic activity. There is more breath control compared to running and it makes your muscles work harder for your demand for oxygen. And that's usually why you can get it so much cardio and burn so many calories!
