One of the most important beauty rules to me is: Keep Moisturizing. Everything from lips, to face, to feet. Face, legs, and arms are very easy to moisturize. All you have to do is smother with lotion (or body butter) and move on with your day! However, your feet and lips might be a different story. But it's okay, with just reading down below, I'll be sure to help you moisturize your lips so they are silky smooth for that New Years kiss this weekend! ;)
Lips
- Brush your lips with a tooth brush. Do it while your brushing your teeth or after! This is going to exfoliate your lips and get rid of all the gunky dead cells that like to stick on there!
- Use your every day lip balm. I am a loyal lover of EOS lip balms!
- Lastly, apply a night conditioner to your lips. This is going to be your key essential. It's going to work while you're dreaming about the boy you're going to kiss at 12:00!
I love Bath & Body Works "My Favorite Night Balm". You apply it to your lips and it starts working right away. It also comes off as a gloss in case you're not going directly to bed!
Feet
- Clean those nasty things! (Just kidding).. but really, clean your feet first. Using an exfoliating scrub would be best, but a bar of soap will work too!
- Soak them in lotion! You can either use a body butter, which will do the most moisturizing, but any lotion with shea butter and vitamin e will work wonders!
- Lastly, you want to wrap your feet! I recommend fuzzy socks period. Although, I live in a snowy state, so I just love fuzzy socks. But if you can find some fuzzy socks WITH shea butter in them, your feet will feel brand new in the morning! You can find these socks at almost any store like Kohls, Ulta, Bath & Body, Walmart.
I hope everyone had a marvelous holiday season and is looking forward to a new year! Of course you are now with your brand new feeling feet & lips! ;)
Sending Well Holiday Wishes Your Way,
Nicole Xo
