I feel like Rainbow Nails are gorgeous for any season. It's so easy to put them together, although it looks like a difficult task. I love how the color contrast looks on the nails.

My Favorite Drugstore Makeup Brand

What's your favorite drugstore makeup brand? Mine would definitely be NYX cosmetics. I am absolutely impressed by their wonderful eye shadows, fabulous lipstick and glosses, and cream blushes. If you haven't tried out NYX, you can purchase it at Ula or online here .

Something I am absolutely in love with is nude lipstick. I feel like nude lipstick makes your true lip color pop even more and it makes you look a lot more "put together"!

Makeup DOES Expire!

As many of us know, most things expire with time. Except honey, it is too sweet to expire! When most of us think about things expiring we think of milk, eggs, and medicine. Although, your precious makeup surly does expire!
I just want you to remember that I am not an "expiration export" but I did do about three hours worth of research and learned some things that I would love to share with you all!


The first thing you need to remember is that once you open a product, the expiration process begins. 

Here is a basic breakdown to help you determine when to trash your old makeup stash:

• Concealer: Concealer applicators should be tossed within 6 months since these instruments are known to grow and harvest bacteria. If you use a brush to apply your concealer, hang onto your twist-up sticks and compacts for up to 1 year.
• Foundation: Between 6 months and 1 year
• Pressed Powder Cosmetics (face powder, eye shadow, blush etc.): 1 year to 18 months
• Lipstick and gloss: 1 year
• Lip and eye pencils: If you sharpen your pencils regularly and they are not crumbly or dry, you will get 1 year to 1.5 years out of them!
• Mascara and liquid eyeliners: Always, always replace every 3 months. If you get an eye infection, throw your mascara and liner away ASAP and replace with a fresh mascara once the infection has completely cleared up.
• Natural cosmetics: Any organic, all-natural, products must be disposed of after 6 months because these cosmetics are preservative free.

Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo

To say I am in love with this product is an understatement. I decided to check out the Color Tattoos and had pretty low expectations for them. Every other cream shadow I have used before, creased within the next hour. This shadow does not crease- ever. I wear it every single day as a base or by itself. I am so impressed by the color pigmentation and the consistency! I believe that this product is better then a MAC paint pot, and that's truly saying a lot!

Nail Of The Day!

I am head over heals for this SinfulColors baby pink "Starfish" nail polish color. It's the perfect pink to brighten up my life! It's been snowing lately and all I can think about is spring, spring, spring. So to say the least- this polish really reminds me of spring time!
